Sticks
Pick how many sticks to face: fewer is safer odds for a smaller payout, more is a longer shot for more points. One round a day, number keys or tap to pick. The streak counts days played, not days won.
How the odds work
The dial is odds against payout, and the payout climbs exponentially rather than in a straight line: each extra stick on the board doubles the win. Two sticks is an even-money guess for 1 point; twelve is a 1-in-12 shot for 1024. Expected points therefore rise the further out you go, which is the opposite of how a casino would price it — the flat edge here is the once-a-day limit, not the arithmetic.
The round asks for the longest stick or the shortest, chosen at random, so knowing the board size tells you the odds but never the answer. The streak counts days played, not days won: a bad call costs you the points, not the run.
Signed out: the round plays here in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere — which also means it cannot be ranked, and it goes when the browser is cleared. Signing in deals it on the server, which is what makes a streak and a leaderboard place mean anything.
